Scientific Inventions and Discoveries by Ancient INDIANS
During the growth of ancient civilization, ancient technology was the result of incredible development in ancient engineering and medicine in ancient times.
However many ancient inventions are forgotten, especially in India.
Indian architectures, especially the temples in India are the most wonderful buildings which are built in a perfect orientation in older days which even modern technology fails.
Atomic Theory:
John Dalton an English chemist and physicist is the man who is credited with the development of atomic theory, but 2600 years ago an Indian sage, Acharya Kanad who formulated atomic theory. He is the one who originally formulated the ideas of atoms.
He called the molecules as anu. He also stated that anu has two different states- Absolute rest and State of motion.
Law of Gravity:
Objects fall on the earth due to force of attraction by the Earth.
Therefore the celestial bodies are held in a orbit due to this attraction, these lines explains Newton's Law of Gravity, but this are not said by an European scientist. These were said by an Indian sage Bhaskaracharya in a book called "Surya Siddhanta".
Approximately after 1200 years Sir Isac Newton rediscovered this phenomenon and named Law of Gravity.
